Mr. D. R. Mehta – Chairman

Mr. D R Mehta, 75, B.A., LL.B and Management Graduate of Royal Institute of Public Administration, London and Alfred Sloan & School of Management MIT-Boston, USA, joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1961. He has rich experience of more than 40 years, during which, he held various important positions in Government of Rajasthan & Government of India and also in Regulatory Bodies.  His last six assignment were:

• Secretary State Enterprises, Govt. of Rajasthan
• Secretary Committee on Financial Reforms – Cabinet Secretariat, Govt. of India
• Additional Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance
• Director General of Foreign Trade, Govt. of India, the Ministry of Commerce
• Deputy Governor Reserve Bank of India (RBI)
• and lastly he retires as Chairman of Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI)

Mr. D. R. Mehta has been appointed as Non-Executive and Independent Director as well as Chairman of the Company w.e.f. December 11, 2008

Mr. Hemant Modi  - Non-Executive Director

Mr. Hemant Modi 57, has a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, U.S.A. and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from M.S. University of Baroda. He has having 29 years of experience in the field of management and execution of construction of Industrial structures and factory buildings. Mr. Modi is responsible for successful execution of all projects undertaken by JMC.

Mr. Modi has extensive experience in the design and construction management of various Civil Engineering projects. He has worked with many private and government agencies on small and large projects both in India and in the United States. Mr. Modi is personally involved in the projects to ensure highest quality service to the clients. He along with Mr. Suhas Joshi has started this Company w.e.f. June 5, 1986.

Mr. Suhas Joshi - Non-Executive Director

Mr. Suhas Joshi 58, has over 30 years of experience in the field of construction Industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from M.S. University, Baroda Mr. Joshi is fully responsible for Plant & Machinery, Procurement & Logistics for all Industrial & Building Projects undertaken by the company.

He has extensive experience in co-coordinating the construction activities of the project which include planning and scheduling, site management, procurement of material and manpower, and in general solving all the problems during construction so that the projects are completed successfully on time and with desired quality. He along with Mr. Hemant Modi has started this Company w.e.f. June 5, 1986.

Mr. Shailendra Kumar Tripathi - Dy. Managing Director & CEO

Mr. Shailendra Kumar Tripathi, 48, is a Civil Engineer from Government Engineering College, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Since passing out in 1984, he has worked in major Infrastructure companies like Gammon India, Larsen & Toubro Limited and Oriental Structural Engineers Private Limited. He started off as a site execution and planning engineer and went on to head the implementation and construction of many infrastructure projects in the country involving highways and airports. His technical, strategic decisions and leadership skills coupled with his sound financial and business sense has helped him in securing and successfully implementing many projects in Public Private Partnership model.

He Joined JMC Projects (India) Ltd in 2008 as the President & COO of the Infrastructure Division. He has been responsible for the overall performance and growth of the Infrastructure Division.

Mr. S. K. Tripathi has been appointed as Executive Director on the Board of JMC Projects (India) Ltd w.e.f. October 22, 2011. He has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director w.e.f. May 18, 2012. He is responsible for the Infrastructure, Power, Building & Factories and BOT Business Divisions of the organization alongwith their growth and diversification plan.

Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh – Executive Director

Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, 50 is a B.E. (Civil) from University of Mysore and M.B.A. (Finance) from IMT, Ghaziabad.  He started off his career as Graduate Engineer Trainee and worked at different positions with various departments in M/s. Gannon & Dunkerley & Co. Ltd for last 25 years and lastly as Sr. Vice President.  As a Business Head he has secured and successfully executed many Power Projects, Petrochemical & Refinery Plants, Steel Plants, Cement Plants & other major Industrial Projects as well as Infrastructure Projects like Railway Tracks, Bridges and Highways.

Mr. Kamal Jain – Director

Mr. Kamal Jain, 55 is a Chartered Accountant having rich experience of 27 years in the field of finance, taxation, corporate affairs and human resource developments. He has been appointed on the Board of the Company effective from February 5, 2005 as Non-Executive Director.

Mr. Mahendra Punatar – Director

Mr. Mahendra Punatar 77, has over 50 years of experience in the field of construction Industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Masters Degree in Structural Engineering from U.S.A. He has been appointed as Non Executive and Independent Director on the Board of the Company effective from January 30, 2006.

Mr. Manish Mohnot – Director

Mr. Manish Mohnot, 40, is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant having experience in the field of Power, Oil & Gas, Ports, Water Shipping, Tourism, Railways / Containers & Airports. He is executive Director at Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd. since November 2006. He has been appointed as Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Company w.e.f. May 29, 2009.

Dr. Shailendra Raj Mehta - Director
                                   
Dr. Shailendra Mehta 53, is Visiting Professor of Business Policy at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Academic Director of Duke Corporate Education (or Duke CE, the custom corporate education arm of Duke University in US). He has strong research interests in the areas of Technology, Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Simulation.

His research on Simulation has resulted in the creation of hi-tech company and a US patent. He has been associated with reputed organizations such as IBM, Honeywell, Microsoft, Infosys, State Bank of India and others.

Prior to returning to India in 2006 to set up the collaboration between IIM-A and Duke CE, he taught Economics and Strategy for many years at Purdue University at US.

He done his Bachelor of Arts from St. Stephen's College and Master of Arts from the Delhi School of Economics, M.Phil from Balliol College, Oxford University and his Ph.D. in Economics is from Harvard University.
